Dark blue car? Silver wheels. Light blue? Darker wheels is fine. See Phazeds nice motor with the RL7s... you cant really see them!

Silver!

Your car is awesome Peter, I just like the contrast better than all dark. Opinions...

Definitely none of the dark ones above.

Silver or a light anthracite.

All about personal taste ........but the silver wheels by a country mile for me.

I think its about contrast.

I may be showing my age but all this about black high gloss wheels, shadow chrome, anthracite etc, etc, etc, is a big no no.

Just does not look right.

Some of todays modern cars may just pull it off, but on a TVR i dont think so.

Again just my opinion.

That looks very nice, especially against the dark blue bodywork. A very nice contrast.

A polished rim with either colour coded centres or a mid grey always looks good in my eyes. If the wheels don't have a deep dish rim then a diamond cut 10mm wide pin stripe on the wheels outer edge will make most wheels look a bit special smile

I think it depends what 'look' you want. Classy/classical or mean and stealthy. Both can work as already demonstrated in this thread. It's up to you. The colour of the cars plays it's part of course...

Shadow chrome, they are a lot shinier in the flesh

Better late than never. I found a picture showing the diamond cut pin stripe on the outer edge of the wheel. Nearly a tvr estoril smile

As per the title, I'm just about to pull the trigger on a wheel refurb and am torn as to which way to go dark or silver ?
The chassis is gunmetal grey and wishbones are black but the paint is China blue.
Over to you thumbup
What about colour coding the wheels to the body? You can accent the centre caps with the silver of the lights and indicators wink
