Hi, For those of you that are running 7/17" et25 fronts and 8/18" et35 rears, can you tell me what tyre sizes you are using.
215/40/17 fronts, and 235/40/18 rears by any chance.?
Without having clearance issues.
Thanks.

A 235/45/18 will be 11.75 mm ride height gain and 11.75 wheel arch loss over a 235/40/18 which is almost the same size outside dia as my 235/45/17 and I think that should allow the extra size to fit, my arches seem to have plenty of room for a bigger tyre.
You'll have a nice gearing change in it will Rev less at 70 mph etc

I went for the 215/45/17 replacing the 215/40/17 on the fronts which is also an increase in outside dia and does give more meat on the tyre's and if you did go for the bigger rears would look better. This is a bigger outside dia over standard size slightly but hasn't had an adverse effect on my cars handling, if anything it's better. Brakes are less aggressive but in a goid way.

Will they fit.com is a good easy site to check your sizes wink

I had 215/45 17 fronts and 235/40 18 rears.
Diameters are 624mm front and 645mm rear, which gives you the standard one inch difference.
I had slight catching one side at the rear when I had Toyo R888 tyres on, which have broader shoulders than most.
Raised the ride height a tad to resolve it.
