It won’t get much wet up there anyway. That chassis is well over 20 years old, it’s clearly sitting in a warm dry spot right there.
Have you patented your design as that’s going to fly off the shelves
That’s really cool Jacko thumbup

Job looks a goodun

Some Magic Gel on top of all that gadgety electronicy magic box will keep the moisture away

PH Member SturdyHSV found this magic

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Raytech-Magic-Gel-300-bot...

All ready sealed
Who makes ready sealed or did you mean already sealed?

Yes, can see that all the goodies have been potted. Was thinking about further sealing now that the baby has been terminated

Anyway, it's very nice

While on the subject of handbrakes, I have never been happy with mine it always seems borderline at best but someone on here said that a particular make of brake pads Ford?? worked satisfactorily I would like to try them if the original poster can repeat the advice please.

Yep works a treat
Leaver is now a switch to apply the brakes
No more riveing at it stamping on the brakes at the same time and still getting very little out of it

And the 5’1 bread knife can apply it without any problems

It was suggested genuine Motorcraft pads worked better but i cant see this myself, i would still use a quality standard pad if they exist these days not a silly hard compound.
Adjustment again is critical, i found, mine only worked properly on about 4 clicks.
Calipers obviously need to be in good working order or your fighting a loosing battle.

I put a new cable on mine only because the body was off.
Original was in good condition but the new cable does feel slightly lighter to use.
I nearly re used the old one as I didn’t think there was anything wrong with it so pleased there’s a distinct difference between the two for my money biggrin

I think its more important to check the levers on the calipers are fully retracted when its off and then follow the correct adjustment procedure.
Im not sure what that is though to be honest.
