Jumbo poll! - Does your Chim have Elephant Ears??
Discussion
1998 and no ears.
However I think I may know the reason for this, and it is because the roof at this point on the later models has a slightly different design to the earlier models (i.e. ones which have the manual door opener, not the button under wing mirror).
Have often wondered about this elephant ear debate and spotted the difference from a thread on here the other day and checked mine when I got home.
The early models seems to have the bottom corner cut off at an angle leaving the elephant ear exposed to deflect the water (hence it may leak if these have corroded and fallen off). However the roof design on the later models seems to take this into account and covers this area, hence no need for elephant ears.
