Firstly, thanks to Bob for all his hard work in setting up the event. clap

Secondly, it was great being part of the WWM unoffical 'Cannon Ball Run' up the motorway from Corley via Hilton to Sandon Hall. shoot

As one of the very few female Chim owners I was very reluctant to take 'my top off' and get my bits wet angel

It was great meeting other owners (no matter what model) god she lies!evil

Same time next year? (pray for the sun) and see WWM guys next month

Samantha,

Hey you are more than welcome to join us, plus I guess that I should congratulate you on accessing PH!clapclapclap cue endless hours on here posting on forums then!

Glad that you enjoyed it, the WWM crew are at the Town and Country event Stonleigh from Saturday through til Monday, pop along you'll get chance to meet less fortunate members with "other" less desirable models.biglaugh

Next year BIGGER and better!

I think Bob may need some help though ....

Bob,

On that note Bob if I can help in any way let me know.

My brother-in-law Jon H did the windscreen stickers so perhaps this is something I can assist you with next year, I have some thoughts regarding this area....plus I think that some quality polo shirts may be required ...scratchchin

Hiya

Think you're right about the endless hours on here (just don't get caught out at work - hey!)

If there's anything I can help with too on the events side let me know, as that's part of my remit at work (doh). rolleyes And I volunteer for Birmingham's Artfest 8-10th September annually (BIG PLUG)

I know someone who's usually pretty good on promotional materials.

Will email you about this weekend.

Samantha,

Coincidently I have just copied you and other WWM Chimaera owners into an email conversation that TVRBob and myself have had, my hope is that WWM can make a contribution next years event! smash

On the WWM side of things help is always appreciatedclapclapclap

promotional materials sounds interesting I think I know where you are coming from on that one.

Got yourself on the TVRCC WWM forum yet then?

Does anybody know how to get hold of that Stainless steel/carbon fibre dash that was in the olive Chimaera by the burger van?

Hi all,
I was verbally attacked on the run,i came round a bend to find road blocked by locals,One of which asked why i keep going passed 5 or more times.
By this times other cars were shooting passed while i tried to explain
there are lots of cars on a run not me going round and round.
She replied that she was taking reg numbers of cars if this carries on
I dont think she believed me that i was'nt driving round and round on "her road".
Her eyesight must not be that good, or TVR has invented a paint that can totally change colours including the roof and the body can change its headlights from original to modded. Imanaged to keep cool and slowly drove off.
Anyway it didnt spoil my day. Great event and probally the best run/route i have had on a TVR event.

Bugger off - well you are true actually. Staffs is quite dull apart from Cannock Chase. The wife asked me whilst crusing down towards Cannock Chase vistors centre if I had ever dreamed of this. Driving MY TVR down this road when 20 years previous I was learning to Sledge (not on the road!!!).

I grew up on Cannock Chase and I did bring a tear to the eye (pesky flies) to cruise around home. What a great trip. Memories include 2 blokes & a yellow cerb having a wee wee. Some woman in a village waving 3 fingers at us?????????????? and the view in the mirror and ahead of us ;D

Looking forward to the next meet - been polishing all day today.

Sorry to all for the delay but my p.c blew up on the saturday before Chimfest.
Mrs Hood and myself had a fantastic day/weekend (we stayed the sunday night) the drive out was taking in some fantastic roads as previously mentioned.
only downside was the weather although i always carry my jacket in the boot, but did stay dry for the run-out.
Had a fantastic meal out on the sunday evening at 'the star' in stone which i recomend to anyone that goes that way (a nice pub by the lock with outside tables with heaters)
Glyn.

note to self...........i need to carry a big umbrella in the boot hehe
