Good work Sir .
I'll be there. 'Bout time us Chim pilots had a bash of our own. It's in the diary.

PS What is the collective noun for Chimaeras? Suggestions anybody ?

Dunno, but the plural should be Chimaeri shouldn't it?

Well, nowt on the calendar at the moment, so I'm hoping you can count us in. Well done for doing the organising, Bob.

Are we talking Chims only, or can I bring me mate in his Wedge too?

Mac,

yep we should be up for this, spoke with frank about it and he is up for it, should be a WWM convoy I reckon, bit like this weekends run to Wales.....

What do you reckon?

Oh yeah better take note of this too...

"Tony Wright called me yesterday to inform me that the Bulls Head is closed and undergoing a refurbishment.

After discussing alternative venues it was decided that the Griffin Inn Nuneaton was suitable for the short term, pending agreement from the pub management.

If you remember the Griffin Inn was the venue for the original Griff Growl, it has ample parking and offers a varied menu for those wanting to eat.

I approached the manager today and he is amenable to our requirements, I also performed some market research and the food is fine!

There is a grass area reserved for car clubs at the rear of the pub, plus parking on tarmac alongside this area which he will try to hold for us.

I know this is short notice, and I appreciate that this will not please everyone, however timescales are short and we needed to make appropriate arrangements.

Same day same time.....different place!"

I have emailed you too and put a post on the TVRCC forum.

Cheers,

Steve

Bob,

Apologies for the confusion, this part of the my loving message to Mac relates to a change in venue for the TVRCC Warwickshire and West Midlands monthly meeting on 21st May...wrong forum I know ...

That said reckon I met you last Saturday at Pistonfest, I was down there on spec with my mate Howard early Saturday afternoon, I am sure that we had a chat as a group arrived from Yorkshire, one had a 911, and there was a chap from my region with a Rosso Pearl Cerbie...or am I barking?

On the site, yes unfortunately, more a lawn than a grass field. Perhaps there will be opportunity for some fun on the nearby roads
