Hello all,

I was wondering if any one could help me out...I somehow managed to put a cigarette burn in a cream coloured chimera's dashboard. My boyfriend was surprisingly calm about it, but I really want to fix it. Is there any magical cure anyone could recommend to save me?!!

Thanks in advance, Kelly

Well, firstly give up smoking, it's a filthy habit

There are a few firms that claim to be able to do invisible repairs on this sort of thing.

www.trim-tech.co.uk/
www.profinisheurope.com/
www.chipsaway.co.uk/myweb5/trimfix.htm

Never used them, so don't know how effective they are, but they've got to be cheaper than re-covering the dash.

Good luck....

Thought I replied to this earlier

Anyhooo

Second hand dash top from a breakers

Leather should be repairable, but it's much less likely to burn so I reckon you've probably got a plastic dash top, you'll need to confirm before going any further
