Anyone know a good car cover company? I need a (preferably lockable) waterproof cover to protect the Chim as it will be left outside during the week. Checked the last issue of Sprint as I thought there might be somthing in there, but no joy.

Thanks,

Rob

One thing you should bear in mind is that if you put a car cover on a wet car that isn't 100% clean, then any grit will turn your car cover into wet & dry paper and the wind will rub that aforementioned wet & dry against the bodywork and make 100's of tiny scratches, eventually dulling the paintwork.

Nasty. I'll watch out for it. However, I'm with the Out-Of-Sight-Out-Of-Mind camp in that a covered car parked out of site will attract less attention, dirt, pollen and hassle. Plus, the car will stay clean for longer

Leven make a hood specifically for the Chimaera ... £150, totally waterproof and reasonable secure. Certainly did the trick for me.

Leven Technology - Tel: 01268 281611 ask for Simon. Very helpful, quick turn around and not through the roof on costs.

An associate (not a PH-er, so not really a friend!) at work has decided to go from TVR to Peugeuot 207CC !!! - ha!-ha! Anyway, he now has a Factory supplied outdoor breathable cover for sale. Custom fit for Chim in factory purple with TVR logo on front. He's in Basildon, Essex. Anybody interested e-mail me and I'll pass it on.

I'll third the Classic Additions cover. Had mine for two weeks now. Heavy duty waterproof cover, works perfectly and holds down when the winds up high to. Even comes with a nice bag to carry it around in.
