Expansion tank level?

How much should be in my tank and is it a concern if this level goes down? Ta

General consensus seems to be about 1/4 to 1/2 full, but remember it is a TVR! it might not be

I used to top mine up frequently. Many people on this BB accept a certain amount of coolant loss so it did not worry me. It turned out that I had a very slight leak in the radiator so I put some radweld in for a quick fix - that was Sept 02 and I have not had to put a single drop of coolant in since - it remains half full.

must agree that they do vary a bit car to car.
Mine sits at the half way seem, If i top it up more than this it just spits it out.
Keep an eye on it for a coupl eof weeks and you will find its level.
