"I have them mon my car. 7.5" all round, et 35, Tyres are;
215/40 front and 225?45 rear. The rears give same [ish] rolling radius so speedo reads same. No fouling issues whatsoever.
Hope it helps. MAC."
This thread has been most helpfull to me and many others and for me those ford rims just look right so i think i'll treat me self, is there any other numbers i need Mac for those wheels or is 7.5" and et 35 all i need to no? would that size of rim take a slightly wider rear tyre?

As for additional numbers, if my memory serves me right [with the help of 'chauch'] with et 35 the front wheel outer rim retracts by 4mm and the rears 2mm. So to get back to standard outer rim stance spacers could be used but 2mm either side? Though I will be bringing mine out [prob' bit further] to accomodate brake upgrade. As for wider tyre? I don't know enough about it, only to say, 'why?' It may look nice , but at what cost to ride/handling.
PS, Like your choice. [obviously]

Cheers for the info mac, its funny but over the last two years i've sort of lost interest in the old gal, she's been festering away in the garage very really used albeit still mot'd and taxed and i've not visited this forum for probbably the same amount of time thinking i might sell the car but never being bothered to advertise it but over the last 4 weeks i've actually started driving it again and since popping back on pistonheads its given me more motivation to enjoy the car again, its nice to see some old names still posting advise to people too :-), once the wheels are fitted all i need then is the headlight conversion and maybe a new gearbox cus i've got a slight notch going into 5th gear o! and i really do fancy the super charger option and bigger brakes, bol%x that'll be about 10k i'll have to blow, mmmmmmm! might just pop it back in the garage for another year, lol.
