New member but owned a Chimaera 4.0L for nearly one year. A "so called mate" recommended I go onto Pistonheads and foolishly I chose to read "Should my g/f be allowed to drive my TVR". From the responses I got the impression there are way too many guys with dubious opinions and not enough girlies!! So here I am to help defend all those more than capable female Trev drivers...me being one of them course (btw no PAS either)!
Be gentle guys this is my first time....

Chimaera very sensible and a sound choice, OH
Now getting involved with pistonheads, is an altogether different proposition..... take my advice Get out now! But if you do decide to stick around, that all right with me.
The more of you lovely ladies about the better. OH
and Welcome.

My fiancee sometimes takes out (not in a surgical strike sense!!! LOL) the Chim 450, with her sister. They love it, I think they especially love the look on the max power Nova/Saxo boyz faces when they burble up alongside them!! Chan has come a long way since the days of being too scared to go above 50, and letting all and sundry overtake her!!
The down side is that they have the group Five () at full wack on the CD player!!!, with Chan's sister singing almost as loud as the V8!!!!

My wife loves driving ours - but she doesn't get the chance often. Last time was a month or so ago. She got some looks being 8 months pregnant and climbing out of a chimaera.
We are now meant to have two children but second was due last Friday and it still hasn't shown. So if you see a TVR hurtling towards Worthing then you know why...!
Welcome!
Regards
Paul
