I've been checking this forum for some time now and I'm surprised not to have come across this question before...
What kind of job is a body removal on the Chimaera ? There must be a fair number of cars nearing the point where the chassis is in nead of some serious attention and I can't help thinking that the bodywork must be pretty wobbly when lifted. It is a one piece affair, is it ? Is it a straight lift or does it need to be manoeuvred over chassis members and the like, or lifted at an angle in order to clear "things" ??
I know the general rules of not allowing things to flex too much or have too much unsupported weight, having lifted the bodywork off a Scimitar - it was awkward enough WITH a roof to help keep it stiff.

Someone's done this surely ??

It Comes off in one piece (excl Bonnet, Doors, Bootlid), much like the Griff here below:

Matt - did your insurance company believe you when you said you'd just parked it the night before?

Naaa.. they sent an assessor round who said that only someone with significant bodywork skills could turn a Chimaera into a Griffith, and they didn't rate the local kids that highly..
