TOPPING UP OIL?

Alternatively just to add to the debate - I have never had the need to top up the oil yet! Even after 12000 miles and a trackday it refuses to move off the maximum mark on the dipstick..... rather impressive really.
To be honest it is down to engine and particular day of the week. Some do and some dont.... but assume that you need to add oil and check regularily.
