There aren't many really high-mileage cars about, so it's difficult to know how much of an impact it would have, but I suspect you'd be looking at *well* below normal price for the car's age. It'll affect a slightly older car less. But then I suppose that's all true whatever sort of car you put 60K on...

One thing i've noticed in this here gassing station, is the fact were talking about 4, 4.5 and 5.0 ltr engines.. oops, also 4.3's. all this talk about mileage is pants, mine is just over 3 years old, and now has just over 68,000 on the clock (running better by the day), V8's arent your standard "thrown together, good for 100,000 miles" engine.. were talking serious, strong engines here.
Funny thing really, i for one like to use a car for what it's meant to be used for, it's a bit like saying, "i'm going to walk on my hands for a week, just in case my legs get sore walking on them too much!!!" My point is, if it's looked after properly, you shouldn't have any problems, no matter what mileage is, and we all know, most people notice improvement in general after time.
Basically, look after it, and it'll look after you! Forget about mileage, that's just used by dealers to get better prices for their pocket, think about it, if you were bedded down for a week, would you be as spritely as someone who's been getting around normally, i think not.

The rover engines are tough as anything it seems as long as they are used and not abused. My four year old has 50,000 miles on it (all my own work...) and has been absolutely fine (touch wood frantically). I use it most days (as long as it ain't p*ssing down - i don't enjoy it then). It went much better today cause i washed it for the first time in 9 months... it was a disgrace.
Servicing always seems to be about 400 quid every 6000 miles. You need to be a little sympathetic to niggles, but basically they are good cars. My wife's W reg 25k miles focus has started getting bangs around the front suspension and my Y reg Volvo with 50k on it has similar funny noises, so TVR are no different.
I thought about getting a Cerbie, but was put off by reading their forum on a similar 'how reliable' thread and they all talk about how many engine rebuilds they've had. The higher mileage ones were only talking 40 - 50k miles. Services seem to be circa £1000 a throw with a few extras thrown in. I'm not trying to be negative on them though... brilliant cars but i'm just not brave enough.
Finally - Evo this month review a griff as a future classic. Something about how good the Rover engine is and how poor the depreciation is on tuscan's etc due to the reliability of the AJP engine.
That's all I've got to say.

109,000 Miles and still going strong, no engine work, 1 clutch and 2 starter motors + 1 coil, full service history for every 6,000 miles.
Change the oil every 3,000 miles whether she needs it or not.
