Renovo do a rennovation kit (www.renovouk.com), that consists of a fabric cleaner, reviver (you paint this on and it restores the hood to black) & a weather proofer (which you just paint on).
I bought a kit for my S3C a couple of years ago and it did a great job at restoring the hood.
Just returned to TVR ownership with a Chimaera so will be putting the kit to use again this weekend.
Just had a look on the web - cheapest kit (which also includes polish for the plastic rear window) is £47. You can also buy the products individually. I hardly used any of the contents to clean the hood so it'll last for ages.

I used the Renovo stuff on a Blue Chim hood - excellent, unfortunately whilst polishing the plastic window the stitching came undone, had a new window sewn in & they've made a bodge of gluing the fabric part on - so, it's going back.... sorry, back to Renovo, yep all good stuff inc' the plastic polish!
