Didn't see a comment on this, but AFAIK this is normal. Happens every time on mine anyway and it seems to be running better and better. I assume this is the engine management learning my driving style.

Opps forgot to add comments!!!

OK, I'll rise to it !! The "Engine management learning my driving style" - Poppycock - The TVR ECU will adapt to problems with the engine, but has NO capability to "adapt" to your driving style.

I refer the Honorable Gentleman to my and SH Pubs earlier comments: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=54306&f=8&h=0&hw=Adaptive

If you think it getting better and better, then it probably is, but not because its learning anything !!!!!

Enjoy.

MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) flashes briefly when the ignition is activated with the immobiliser off. This indicates that the ECU is OK.

Mine (99 Chim) is certainly connected as I've had it indicating a fault code by coming on. It should stay on until the code is cleared by disconnecting the ECU for 30 seconds (after fixing the fault).

Cheers,
