What polish is best for the Chimaera.

I used to use Mer on previous cars but this would not be very hood friendly.

Has anyone ever tried the 'turbo wax' seen on QVC

buy Meiguars it's top stuff - especially the banana smelly carnuba wax - best stuff I've ever used - and not expensive either. www.meguiars.co.uk I use the 3 step stuff in the burgundy bottles Deep Crystal I think they call it

Meguiars is excellent, Gold Class Liquid Wax gives excellent shine but can be a bit hard to get off but you don't get any dust. Zymol Cleaner Wax smells lovely gives excellent shine but you get loads of dust with it, i've got a dark blue chim and it takes ages to get it all off. I've tried loads of things but have gone back to Autoglym Super Resin Polish at the moment as it still seems to give about the best shine. You still get a fair bit of dust but it's worth it. Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection over the top of it is also excellent if you want to put the time into it.

Whatever polish you use a final coat of Turtlewax Gloss Guard gives it a deeper longer-lasting shine.

Autoglym - use the resin polish and the finish - it's worth the time spent.

But a word to the wise... don't do what I did in a fit of madness...

Picture the scene - the BNG was approaching. I knew I woudl be busy until the last minute, so applied said Autoglym the previous weekend. Gorgeous. That just left me with the task of a quick wash & buff up on the morning of the BNG.
On said morning, removing the bugs proved difficult. It was Sunday, I wasn't thinking straight... and I did it. Yes, I put bug remover on there.
Imagine my horror as I watched the front of the Chim blur into a mess of melted polish
