No, you will need the correct calipers and carriers, pads are substantially larger!

Assuming the base uprights are the same then there are a number of options about going bigger and staying within the Ford parts bin.

Search Pistonheads for TVR 887 / 888 caliper upgrade alternative and you should find a number of threads. The brake upgrade applied to the Chimp, Grief and S so you are likely to find threads in all these forums.

Some of the callipers used in the ST range are direct alternatives.

There's a front disc wiki in the S forum - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... 'Best' [imho] solution to get a set of discs in the 278mm diameter and right offset is to get a set of 283mm cossie discs machined down to 278mm.

As for the rear brakes. Again, numerous threads on here (in the S forum) about changing from drums to discs and options for sizes and venting. Also threads in the Chimp and Grief enclosures about upgrading factory disc set up on these.

Caprisport Direct shop or oldphonebloke seller on ebay.co.uk has kits to swap from drums to discs using bolt on plates to the drum carrier (rather than swapping to the disc carrier by Ford).

This is going down the drain, i have bought everything for front, 887/888 and 283mm disk, ok
then i bought rear calipers scorpio cosworth 24v for 273mm disc, but need one caliper holder/carrier
i tought, no big deal, i will find it somewere, but seams impossible to find, i have looked everywere, but hard to sit in Sweden and try to find parts in UK, Germany, so i cant find the Carrier.
if someone sits on one, i will be happy to buy it, i need the rear caliper holders/Carrier from Sierra cosworth 4x4 or the sierra Granada/scorpio cosworth 95-98 2.9 v6 24v
the partnumber is 92GB-2B582-AA and 6513467 i hope someone can help me out. 😊

Is that the calliper carrier or the bearing carrier?

If the latter I may have a spare one in the garage. If the former then
