Servicing near Southampton

Just enterd the world of TVR by buying a 4.0L at the weekend. It's a whole new ball game.

Anyone know where I can get the new baby serviced? I live near Southampton and the nearest I can find is Fernhurst, about 50 miles away.

I think you'll find Fernies is your nearest, but I'm open to correction.

There a great bunch of guy's, who I have always found to very helpful...even on the end of a phone when need be.

There 40 miles away from me, but it's a nice drive. OH

Yep Fernies for me to just had my Tuscan up there great service at a reasonable price,plus a courtesy car!!! you know it makes sense

Took the Tuscan to Racing Green - straight up the M3/A331 for you. Very good service at reasonable cost.

The Chimaera is going to Peninsular in a fortnight (equi-distant from Poole) for some TLC. Have heard good things about them but I will know personnaly shortly.

Another alternative is David Batty at The Garage. He got the customer services award last year at BTaP last year and has many loyal customers on PH. I will be using him for the next service in about 3k miles, I just happen to be heading West in the next 2 weeks so Peninsular are convienient for what I need done.

Live in Marchwood myself and Ferhurst seem to be the nearest. I would agree with them being a great bunch of guys, always ready to help or offer useful advice.

Cheers guys (and maybe gals, you never know). Glad to see so many local TVR enthusiasts out there. I'm in Fair Oak. Any local meets keep me posted. Just off to research a floppy mirror which I've seen a number of postings on.

I use penninsula and I live in Bedford (50 miles north of London) found them to be very helpfull and very good value for money, I don't think that you will find a main dealer that will service your car any cheaper I could not find a specialist that could match any of their prices i would recommend them

I am Hedge End too. I use either david batty or Andy at APM automotive. Both are independants, but then so are fernhursts these days. David Batty is in Compton nr Guildford. Andy is in Bordon. In fact, mine shall be in there as off tomorrow for a week or so.
