A recent observation... a couple of seconds after starting up, I get a fairly loud 'thonk' coming from the rear nearside - as though a metal plate with a dent in it has 'popped'. This is while the Chim's stationary, so it ain't suspension or anything like that
Anyone come across anything similar? Could it be the tank?

Fuel tank pressurising. Usually happens more in hot weather. Check you breather system is working (fuel cap/carbon cannister etc.).

Don't worry - they all do that at some point.

Were u low on fuel?
I've been advised to leave the filler cap slightly loose.
