Anything is possible but if you want to keep the 240mm,278mm or 283mm(not stock)discs then no,i tried and you would have to machine so much off the calliper lugs they would become to weak in that area and dangerous in my opinion, but its not all bad they are overweight and not worth the hassle(that does not include aftermarket or TVR)the pad swept area is fairly small for 4 piston units too,i had a set and stuck them on Ebay and went another route thumbup

Ah, ok, I'll probably stick with Mondeo V6 calipers then, will give me 278 mm disc capability (apparently)

Thanks, Roy.

AP Racing TVR Tuscan units work well as a conversion with 305mm discs, and have the added bonus that they look factory fit

It has been reported in the past Gary.. Personally wasn't sure if it was down to different style 15" wheels or if they actually had the smaller AP package (theres one something like 285 IIRC). As MH said 16" wheels on the front is the way to go anyway, much greater tyre choice..

Hallo
I put together quite a few upgrades using the TVR/AP Caliper.Sold them also in combination with the 5-stud Spiderconversion. Disc size 300 x 28 mm.see picture below if it works. It is a well known kit.

I can put together an other kit. The problem is finding used TVR/AP calipers nowadays ( at the right price). So I bougth some new ones to make a kit. As mentioned for this kit you will need 16 inch wheels. If some is interested I will trow in 16 inch Imola's at a very good price ( mint wheels-no dents etc)If the picture doesn't show up I'am happy to send by E-mail again.

greetings and Merry Chistmas and a happy New Year.

Hans.

Hans, could you replicate the 283/285 mm + AP's set up as per TVR car parts/Dulford to fit 15" fronts? Not interested in even larger discs as I want to retain my OZ split rims...

anybody else who would like to see the quote and parts list, mail me and i will forward on.not a cheap conversion on its own but balance it against not having to purchase new wheels and keeping your OE wheels.
