How many Chimaera / Chimaera 500's made ?

Anyone know the final no. of Chimaera's produced ?

Particularly interested in 500's - could it be there are fewer Chimaera 500's than Griffith 500's ? -theoretically making the Chimaera's a more sought after car in the future ?

A quick add up on the Pistonheads for sales gives about 14% of all Chimaeras are 500's.

Chimaera's total 5676 to end of 2001 (courtesy Bible-page 17) ..as for 500's sorry can't help.

think I remember something about 1 in 10 chimaeras beinfg 500's, so in all probability less than 1000 500's made....

That would be 1 in 5 though.. by your calculation, there would only be 5-600 of them..

ah, but that number was only up to the the end of 2001, when did they stop production of the 500's? and i thknk its roughly 1 in 10, could be closer to 1 in 9 , in which case it would be nearer 700 made assuing 500 chimearas produced in 2002. and i did say under 1000....just makes them that little bit more exclusive...

you are probably back down to around the 500 500's mark...which is quite appropriate ....I wonder who has the 500th 500? I feel the residuals going up with every post....;-)
