Just off to get my scott-oiler from the shed....I will make that Chimaera 400 into a 'proper sports car'

If you look into the back issues of "classic and sportscar" I think you will find John Surtees has the same opinion of what constitutes a proper sports car and he knows a thing or three about cars.

Yes it is rather nice isn't it. I'm not biting though as I'm still mulling over my options. PHer's opinions on this topic seems to be divided as to the best way forward. Mrs Sparky's preferred option would be to go down the cheaper upgrade route and spend the balance on a winter carribbean holiday and a nice plasma screen TV on which to watch her favourite weepies and chicflics No one said it would be easy!

Just remember sparky, if you upgrade a 4.0L it will always just be that when it comes to selling. You'll never recoup what you spend but if you don't intend selling for a while then you'll enjoy the improvements to a car you already know. If you know what I mean.
