Battery Drain after two weeks?
Discussion
I know it's naughty of me to leave my car for up to two weeks without use but it sometimes happens. To retaliate the car drains the battery (as seems do all Chims). What I need to know is what is the best solution to this, (and yes I know I should drive it at least once a week if not more), how easy it is to obtain/install and how much it will cost.
The car is usually garaged and should have access to mains supply.
I will now call the 4th emergency service and ask them kindly to give me a jump start

I had the same problem, battery was so flat even the door solenoid would not work.I bought a battery conditioner from TMS via Leven Technology .It took 4 days to recharge the battery as it does it slowly which is the best way and it is now fine. You can leave the battery on constant charge (200ma i think) which can even be done via the cigarette lighter. All i do is plug it in every other day for a top up.
Put a new battery in my Chim last February. Due to biz trips abroad, have sometimes left car for 3 weeks with alarm on. Starts first pull everytime. Perhaps your battery is starting to show signs of old age?
For this winter (with more trips coming up) have bought a battery conditioner from Leven. Very easy to use and does give peace of mind. Well worth the money.

Finally got round to getting the powerpoint installed in the garage, and then called the AA man to give me a Jump Start as the conditioner will not work on a flat battery. Nice man turns up Jump starts me I smile get out of the car shut the door the realise that the doors are locked with car still running. Doh !.
Anyway managed to get back in the car and move it back into the garage. Set the Conditioner to work, went back a couple of days later and the car started first time.
Now back up and on the road Yippee.
Thanks to all who contributed to this thread, and to Julie at Leven.
