Rusty hubs

Fed up seiing rusty centre hubs through my alloys.Should i paint them with silver hammerite,or is
there a better way.

I'd rub what shows with wet & dry (600/900 grade), then a bit of metal polish and finish with clear wheel laquer (masking disc/mounting face). Difficult to keep Hammerite off mounting face & hence creating a bigger problem trying to remove wheels from hub.

IMHO silver looks tacky, paint them black

..or white, especially if you have the wheel arch neon kit fitted
