Lurking wires?

Hi

After returning from Thailand for after 2 weeks my car has turned into a paddling pool - mainly drivers side footwell - although did start first time!!

Anyway this morning i've removed the footwell carpets and am now left with a selection of 5 cables lomed together which seems to come from the drivers side door lock then run along the side of the car before going where.....? cos it's broken off in the footwell area but doesn't seem to have a connecting end.

Any ideas if it go's into the engine bay or up behind the dash

Dunno without hanging myself upside down in the car, but there are three connector blocks just above where the footwell carpet stops by the drivers right thigh: just to the right of the bonnet release. Might be worth checking those.
