Was driving home through London on Saturday evening (in the pouring rain), with the doors locked. Went over a couple of bumps (such good roads in London) and there was a click from behind me, interior light flashed on for a sec and the LED in the door opener went off!

So I pressed the LED again, and it reset itself.

2 minutes later it did it again!

And again, and again. In fact all the way home.

Did this have something to do with the large amounts if water falling out of the sky, or the lumpy road?

It seamed to occur when the rear of the car wobbled from side to side rather than when it fell into a pot hole.

The next day I popped to the shops (still in the pouring rain!) and locked the doors to test it. Roads not quite as bumpy, but all was fine.

Anyone had the same problem? Or has anyone got any suggestions?

Do you mean the one that gets pressed by the door - at the bottom of the door sill?

Or do you mean the one in the middle of the door opener in the centre console? With the LED?

Curtesy light switch at the bottom of the door. A squirt of WD40 and a good clean works wonders.

Thanks guys. Shall give that a go this evening, and then take her over some bumpy roads, to see if it makes any difference. (Shouldn't be too difficult in London!!)
