popping and banging

so it has been a week since I had the baffles removed and sleeves put in lieu of the perforated pipes. pops and bangs galore on the overrun from around 4000 revs down to 3200 revs. Sister was in the Chim on Sat when it was soaking with rain and said the popping and banging sounded like the Chim had a bad curry the night before...

Perhaps that's why she drives a Clio...hehe

Well when I was dropping the car off at Joolz's place on Saturday with Racegirl trying to follow me she told me mine now has the habbit of spitting flames out the back

Steve - does that not suggest that the wheel speed sensor isnt reading correctly? Surely flames indicate a serious overfuel?

I've never seen a Clio shopping kart go that quick, the speedo better be working that was Joolz's last job

i had mine done in the summer.....the overrun gets a lot of attention!!!....my passengers love it...apart from my brothers fiance who thought it1 meant we were gonna break down 'cos it was back firing'!!!!!
