HHC had seven of them on the shelf when I needed one, I'd suggest just taking the TVR parts dept. route, afterall Douglas Valley will only sell you a Secondhand one afterall..

same thing happened to the griff over the summer. Some little tosspot kicked mine off and broke the 3 pronged aluminium (?) stalk inside. Got it replaced / fixed by an independent for about £50 I think.

Mine caused a bloody great scratch on the passenger door too. Grrrr!

If you catch the little s*d, let me know - cos I'd like to come round and give him an almighty shoeing.

£50 would be about right I suppose... you can easily do the job yourself but it is a bit fiddly dealing with the electrics through the speaker hole in the door and also ensuring that the mirror is tight at the right angle to the car body. Once you've paid £8 for the part, and added an hours labour at say £35, then added VAT, you're at the £50 mark.

Same thing just happened to mine except it was age fatigue rather than a boot that was its final demise.

Keridges keep these in stock for around £12.

h
