Havent actually been yet but Im going on Thursday to have some work done! All the signs so far seem very positive - friendly staff (Mike) and competitive pricing!. I will report back and let you know!

Hi,

Second that many times - I had quite a few starting problems which everyone seemed to say 'there all like that sir' except Mike who had the car checked everything, replaced a few parts and returned the car working as it should. The service from him was very good even to the point of meeting me early at the workshop then dropping me in to work and picking me up after work to collect the car - how many main dealers charging a fortune do that!

Probably the best independant around this area IME (runs for cover)

Cars in for a service Friday so hopefully nothing major!

Lee

Dan do you live local? Not seen any Chim around lately

On the local theme really - I'm in Stourbridge...

Lee - think I've seen your car around.

Wondering if there are many other local TVRs - There don't seem to be many meets up this way - TO be arranged may be ?

Hi Rob,

No there isn't many meets - the offical ones being in Brum or Stone(Stafford i think) although i've not been accross to either yet. Is your Chim Portland Grey/Silver with a private plate? If it is i've seen that a few times on the island by the Foley Ams. If it isn't i havn't seen any others. Oh thats a lie i've seen a dark blue? one in the Primrose hill area if thats your's i live about 1/2 mile away on Lawnswood.

Have you used any of the local garages yet?

You may have seen mine around it's a Crimson Starmist 4.0L unfortunatly with an inheirted plate with i'd like to change to a TVR type plate.

Hi Christine,

No Horizon are based in Cradley Heath owned an run by an ex-Tuscan race engineer Mike. He's very much involved in the racing scene and is very helpful in the bargin.

I have recieved very very good service since buying my Chim and would reccommend them. I live in Wordsley as are Central Tvr - i use Horizon....

Regards

Lee

Nice Yellow chim BTW not seen any yellow ones for ages.
