Had my Chimaera 4.0 for nearly a month. Was out for a drive last night and just exited a roundabout. The road was dry, straight and slightly uphill so put the power down in 2nd.

As i reached the top of the hill/mount (literally only an elevation of about a metre!) there was a damp patch possibly where the field and verge to the left was draining onto.

The rear wheels broke traction and skewed round probably 20-30 degrees so i started staring at the kerb!

Whilst i was busy picturing myself in the ploughing up verge, i was also instinctively applying a tad opposite lock and just slightly easing off the throttle and before i knew it the car was back under control and heading in the right direction.

My heartbeart shot up about 100bpm in about half a second though!

Brown Trousers at the time, then a big grin for the next five miles after the heartattack's faded...

you know i love it when the water is glistening off her seductively curvaceous body and her rear end is squirming in the wet

Had one of those moments too... funnily enough about the same length of time of ownership. The Mrs still hasn't though, and she tells me it's because she's a better driver!.... I say it's because she still drives it like her Fiesta!!... now pull over and let me drive

You learn to look at the road ahead, calculate its skiddiness coefficient and adjust the right boot accordingly.

I see it as being shown just who is the boss. Just when I think I know all there is to know about my car, when it's gonna turn round and bite me on the ar5e, it just goes and shows me that it's still in charge !!!

Great fun for other people watching apparently, but deff brown trouser time, especially at 70, in 3rd on a seemingly dry dual carriageway !
