Absolutely inspirational !!! and here's me flapping over a hole in my fuel tank. If this thread doesn't get you rushing to the garage nothing will. Thanks

Hope you don't mind me pointing something out but you seem to have the rear poly bushes on wrong. you should have poly bush sleave with the top hat sitting against the chassis/outrigger arm (the rear lower arm with the adjuster) here not the plastic washer.

but it at apears the top hat part of the bush is actually on this side here you can see the stainless steal top hat between the mount and the wishbone bush holder

Sorry if you have already corrected this but better to find out now than have it fail later

Top Man clap This to me is what PH should be all about, people helping each other out if they can and not keyboard warriors sniping at each other or taking the piss out of someones efforts furious
Very refreshing clapclap

How the hell do some of you guys have the know how to do this sort of thing. Very creative, in fact it is a work of art.
What hubs are you using (I noticed the 5 stud and non standard hub - they off a speed 6 car?). It makes my head hurt trying to figure out how it all works after you have done it.
Really hope the car is everything you have worked so hard to create. cool

Well, I had a mate who had some turbo's lying about and plumbed them into his MX5.
First one gave him MASSIVE lag, the next one ran out of puff well before the red line.
He gave up with that idea and is now shoehorning in a Lexus LS400 1UZFE V8 engine in.... nice.

So, here's hoping the turbos match the engine on the TVR.....
Good Luck

clapclap Yup, it sounds awesome. Fantastic job mate considering total rebuild of car AND motor AND turbos AND repositioning of all electrics. Just one wire that had to be earthed and she started. I was as exicited about it as you. Cant wait to see it mapped.

You just would not believe how effective those covers on the turbos are. After getting up to temp' you could KEEP your hands on them. It really looks a factory job in the flesh clapthumbup Oh, and you've just gotta hear it bounce

Awesome Job Neal! its filled up the engine bay nicely, it would be interesting to see what your under bonnet temps are with all that wrapping and blankets,
Are you planning to wrap the inlet pipe?

Thanks smile

Yes its all fitted in nicely with not much room left..lol, awaiting my water injection system to arrive so need to mount the nozzle in the inlet then will wrap it after.

I remember the engine bay temps before at just idle and they were HOT but there is just no heat anywhere its so cool. Might be a different story on boost biglaugh but im impressed so far.

Ive wrapped the exhaust right under the car as well.

I have been looking at snow performance water injection for my conversion,on your exhaust did you use mild steel for your hot side or stainless?
