How can anyone justify £6 for P&P - seen these Auctions go to £30 for First Edition Bibles !!!

Cheaper to order one direct from TVR !!!

Yeah, the real cost to post something like that recorded delivery would be around 2.50 at the most....maybe it'll come nicely gift wrapped

It's a 'known' way of bumping up your profit on Ebay, my mate does it all the time with Tamiya stuff.

Yes so I've decided that all bibles were obviously undervalued and under priced so they will be going up to £60 from Noon today....

I am sure the book is worth every penny but surely this is a perfect example of how daft people can be on the internet with things like Ebay?

Second edition bible weighs in at just over 2.5 lbs so approx 1.2 kg. inc packing. Next Day delivery on that would cost £6.55, normal snail-mail would cost £5.45

I was about to say fair enough, however, a Web search showed that Post Office letter rate (first class) for 1.25Kg is £4.56.

Mate of mine sold an empty cardboard box on e-bay for £5. Described as "Handy box - useful for storing items in...etc." Oh, and £5 P&P.

Some Mothers do 'ave 'em!

Dodg' - I heard of somebody selling some really good quality 'nothing' on auction - it was a very rare one though... and someone in the states bid $5 for it!

I sell a lot of stuff on ebay - it really is fantastic and I would urge you all to consider selling unwanted items on there, or if you are in business - sell whatever you do on there too!!
