High Holborn @ 2:30pm and a nice rumble meets my ears . I look out of the window of the Princess Louise and there's the Rosso Red Chim I've seen before.

Roof on ? It's dry!

Dunno about the car, but the Louise is a cracking pub. My favourite start for a London crawl. Have you been to the Lamb? Or the Sun, before they demolished it...

I don't remember the Sun, but if the Lamb is at the end of Lambs Conduit Street, then yes.

Mmm... pie... .

All three used to be on my itinerary for a London Crawl. Haven't been back in years. The Sun was near the Lamb I believe and introduced me to Theakston's Old Peculiar. Makes a useful alternative to Evo-Stick I have found. Get's you p1ssed quick too.

The Sun was on the other side of Lamb's Conduit Street and about 50 yards South. They used to have about 150 draught beers on over the course of a year, with some 20 at any one time, plus several hundred bottled. Sadly, the freehold belongs to thingys childrens hospital, who have demolished the entire block to make way for more hospital buildings. Pah. Sick children! Who cares?

Sorry to hear about the Sun - still a useful selection at the Louise tho' - but takes ages to get served when busy. Very interesting Victorian architecture too.
