...I need to find a good independent TVR specialist garage place to get my Chimaera serviced (& MOT'd) in a couple of weeks (Fed up with outrageous main dealer prices!). Needs to be near-ish either Poole in Dorset or Stoke in Staffordshire.
Can anyone give recommendations?
Cheers

closest to Poole is probably APM Automotive near Liphook or David Batty at compton near guildford. Neither are on the doorstep, but both worth travelling to.

Always said that a good independant near Southampton would clean up.

Hi big treacle,

Suggest you read current comments on two independants that are "closest" to you...............www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=83546&f=13&h=0

hmmm.. they're a bit far but for 250quid for a service & a rolling road session they could be the people to see...

Same problem as you Big treacle.

I'm in Dorset as well, and my recently purchased Chim needs a 48,000 service. Having spoken to Bob Ingleby, I've booked it in with David Batty. The theory being that he'll also give it a good going over, whilst servicing it, to find any hidden niggles.

Until someone with half a brain and an oily rag has been over it to make sure there are enough wheels etc. I won't be confident about getting a bit heavy with the right foot.

BTW.
Why doesn't anyone have anything nice to say about Westover at Pimperne?
