engine upgrade

Hello to everyone on this forum.
I used to belong to a TVR forum a long time ago when i had my 450SE.

Anyway, i'm thinking about buying a Chim very soon and have seen one advertised that interests me. I am really looking for a 500 but will also consider a 450 if it looks right. This chim in question was a 400 but has been upgraded to a 4.6 by Peninsula.

I just wondered what opinions you have about this. I am most interested in effected resale value, and performance comparisons as well as any feedback on Peninsula's engine upgrade service.

My 450 was a beast in more ways than one - but as you can see i havn't been scared off.

For what it's worth note that the 4.6 engine is the same as the 'TVR 450'. i.e. a Range Rover lump. What is the car like. Condition, history, condition, mileage, condition?

Hmmm... that would make it a bugger to insure.. modified vehicle and all that, better just to find a 500 I reckon.
