Done a search, read me Bible and looked in the handbook. Why doesnt anybody want to tell me what the tyre pressures on a Chimaera should be? 225-50ZR16 rear and 205-55ZR15 front.
Help me .. .. ..someone.. .. .. anyone.. .. ..

My Griff handbook states 22 front and 24 rear. Assume this would be the same for Chims.

Good god man that thread is six years old.

Your tyre pressures do need increasing if you are loading weight into the car. By how much is anyone's guess. It also depends what tyres you have on, some need higher pressures to start with because there are rigidity variations between the commonly used tyres

Think the figures are in the handbook - at least they are in mine.

22 - 24 normally

25 - 28 loaded / high speed - so I'd go for these for Le Mans - that's what I have set mine to anyway.

depends on the tyres. Those pressures are probably for SO2's , I find them a bit low for my current tyres so front dunlops have 24 , rear falkens 26.

Spot on, don't use the settings in the book, they are for S02pp's. S02pp's were very rigid, if you use the same pressures for soft sidewall tyres you'll not have the ride characteristics that TVR intended. Most of the tyres used by Chim/Griff owners have softer sidewalls than those used when the book pressures were selected

Just had new Toyos put on my 450 and the garage put the rears at 30psi and the fronts at 32psi and 35psi !
Handling was pretty terrible as you might imagine !
