Talk Morgan outcast!!

Whilst Piston Heads is great obviously some marques are discussed more actively elsewhere - Morgan seems to have a massive following on 'Talk Morgan' however I appear to be black balled with permission to register being ignored/denied for months?? I dare say my reputation may be a touch questionable but has anyone else experienced difficulties registering??

I registered a few weeks ago, and had no response, but last night I tried to log on, and was able to!

So try logging on, as it seems the system does not email you to tell you that you have been accepted.

You are now a member of a long list. Many people have been banned, without warning or reasons given. An alias used to help, but my ISP told me that the method they now use seems to be based on one's IP address, so no one will be to access from your computer. However, you might be able to access from another. At least that was the method being used in the past and from the symptoms you describe, it has not changed.

TalkMorgan is the Morgan Factory's forum and the moderators allegiance is to Pickersleigh first, not fellow owners. There is also some sort of connection with Pistonheads as this forum is used as a constant referral source, something Pistonheads does not normally allow.

Take care. The moderators and their mates travel in packs and can quite vicious.

You are right. It takes much less time for him to approve you (one quick click of a button) than it took
to write you that note.

New registrations are normally approved within 48 hours. OP please pm me your username and I'll look into it.

Oh and whilst writing, no-one has EVER been banned from TM. A couple of contributors have earned the position of having to have their posts approved before submission but otherwise it's a pretty well mannered and respectful forum.

Of course there are some who will no doubt argue, wrongly, to the contrary. Especially those who have even been banned from here but have had to re register on PH under a new '2' moniker but we have learnt to ignore their trolling

Not so, TM was set up and is run by a Private individual with the help of a few acquaintances ( Morgan enthusiasts) helping to keep peace and good banter along the way. I would suggest their allegiance are to the people who respect the forum and it's fellow members.

If and when you join, it is totally funded by the owner who does not ask for any help in funding whatsoever, however donations to cover costs I know will be appreciated and at the same time change your title name from blue to violet to show you have contributed to a great forum.

It would appear that your account was approved the day after you applied however you are yet to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions (a tick button). This is what has prevented you from coming on board.

Once you do this you will be able to access the site in full.

Hi - I really must be doing something dim as I can't seem to be able to get the T&C's page up to tick. Have tried to enter my login details but denied
as presume not yet approved. Have also tried via the 'forgotten password' option - but still no success?? H E L P...............

I've never been banned despite openly criticising MMC quality!
Lotus build quality puts MMC to shame, and they've innovated rather than keep an old design going.
I want to love Morgan but i have to be critical as my car has had several faults in different areas.
The one joy is BHM, top garage!
