Am test driving a 3 wheeler on Saturday.

It's a 2012 car, older than I really wanted but beggars can't be choosers at the moment.

What should I look out for / be asking the dealer / make sure has been attended to?

Really appreciate any pointers.

I'm guessing from your location that it's the mango one at Allon White ? If so, looks excellent.

There's a few upgrades that you really want to know have been done on a 2012 M3W;
Chassis should have a bolt in brace behind the engine that attaches to the upper side tubes and the cross bar behind rather than just straight across between the top tubes. Better still is if it has the welded in bracing rather than the bolted one as that means the chassis has been changed.
Between the engine and the clutch is a transmission damper, if it is the original Harley style unit it will fail and probably soon..much better though not perfect is the later Centa compensator. Quite difficult to tell which is which without being under the car and knowing what to look for. Even better is a Centa compenator that has been modified by Phil Bleasey; makes it easier to maintain and simply works better.
The steering should have the "comfort kit" fitted. This is a pair of stainless risers under the track rod ends that bring the rods up to almost parallel with the top wishbone and seriously reduces bumpsteer.
The cooling kit is a good idea, the big fan behind the engine keeps things cool in traffic and the large cowling round the fan gives more even cooling at speed even when the fan isn't running.
You want the steel rear sprocket on the back wheel, the original aluminium sprockets didn't last well at all.
Well worth a look at the TalkMorgan forum and also the Morgan Threewheeler Club website. On the latter you can find a buyers guide with lots of info; https://www.mtwc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/...

No but I did enjoy the drive so I'm still wanting one.

The car I drove was not the right one.
