Absolutely no truth in the rumour Gerwyn, well maybe a little bit as we are taking two cars! wink Are you going on to Assen afterwards?

Can't make the factory trip as we off to France with the Aero Club and then having some weeks down sarf...

Cheers

Do you have a Morgan trike? wink
Nope, have a Morgan inspired one. Super cute 3wheeler, 2cv running gear Lomax body which is styled on the early morgans. I'm out In it 2 or 3 times a week and it's mid winter here. Gotta go the whole biggles kit early in the morning though. Can't wait for the M3W to come downunder, I'll be driving that like I stole it as well.
Cheers

Although it's a long way away< I'm looking forward to the LMC too!

Some news on the 3W, it seems that due to a number of issues with suppliers, the Dealers cars will be delayed for another month or so. Delivery is now scheduled to be towards the end of September 2011 and customers cars will be after this, so it looks like October delivery at the earliest guys with the concomitant knock-on to all 3W other delivery dates. coffee

On a more cheerful note, our Dealer has advised that these extras will be additional options available:

Starcom1 Digital Intercom System – £450 (see www.starcom1.com/therange.htm for details of the product)

Thatcham approved TOAD Immobiliser - £125

Photo build book (customer cars only) - TBA

I've always been a fan of the AERO 8, but I've never wanted a Morgan more than I do now. It looks like soooooo much fun, and thats whats missing with so many modern cars nowadays.

I dont want to break laws and risk my license to enjoy myself - this is perfect.

Really interested in one of these...

Any idea what the leg room max is likely to be after shoving the pedal box all the way back? I'm 6'3''

So, who's going to be the first brave soul to fit a 'new' JAP engine into theirs then??

So you can run it on methanol and Castrol R, and make it smell like you're at Brooklands smile

Saw the threewheeler today at the IOW car show and now want one even more! It's better than I thought it would be in the metal, and it actually looks quite a bit bigger than I had thought it would too.

It sounded lovely and there are some really nice aviation style touches such as the switchgear the dials. Easy to get in and out and a perfect fit for me (reasonably powerfully built). The only part that did not feel overly comfortable was the legroom width from the knee down...I'm sure I would get used to it, and it wouldn't put me off owning one.

Loved the leather touches, the demo car already has a lovely patina to it where people have obviously hopped in and out...I bet it would get better with age. Really liked the fly screens, side pipes and touches such as the M3W pedals and pulsing start button under the bomb release stye switch...

It would have to be in the Greek with the aero-style MOG decals though!

..time to find a house with a garage, ASAP!

Had a chance to drive the 3W today at Richard Thorn's open day, what a blast. Difficult to describe the experience but on a sunny day difficult to think of any car that would raise a bigger smile

The pedal box is very tight (I've size 8.5 feet) and there were a couple of moments when I hit the gas rather than the brake :s Also the box needs pushing back a bit (again vital statistics 5'10", 32" inside leg) but they seem to think this will happen on the production cars.

Very, very tempted. The Spyder seemed so civilised afterwards...

Went on a factory visit today & it seems like every available space is being used to produce the 3W.
Also been a few drivetrain changes- thicker propshaft & substantially thicker final drive belt necessatating the rear tyre dropping to a 175 width...
