Mg 135TF weird noise

I bought a TF over the weekend and its a fantastic car couldn't be happier with it. Only thing I've noticed is between 3,750 and 5,000 rmp there is this weird noise. It sounds like possibly the exhaust or intake, its a sort of metallic sound. Is this just the way the k-series is?
Any advice much appreciated.

have you checked engine oil and coolant level?

is it a ticky/tappety type noise?

Oil and water are good. I wouldn't say its like a top end tappet noise it's almost like something resonating. Comes in exactly 3750 even cruising down the motorway, could be a exhaust baffle perhaps will have to jack it up at the weekend.
