Hi, what is the kerb weight of a chrome bumpered GT please -preferably from an Autocar road test or similar.

2260 lbs according to MG (THEN) What makes you ask its about a ton in real money. Heavy old car.

A Hot Car road test of a 1971 TVR. It lists some basic figures for other cars - TR6, GT6, BGT and others. It lists the bhp as 95 for the MG which I think is correct but states the bhp/ton is 80.4. This makes it nearly 1.2 tons which I thought a bit suspect.
