I sold my 64-htp's etc for mid twenty three years ago.All period correct, 1853cc etcetera. I built it in 1989/90 from an us imported car/californian.
At the time it was said to be the lightest of them all, 3:08 around Spa on Dunlop Historics was good enough I thought.
WAE, you would be better off getting in touch with Barry Sidery Smith or indeed the guy who recommissioned it, Colin Pearcy.
Are you intent on getting a goodwood entry,?
There are some B"exoerts"around who would tell you what they think you would like to hear just in case a sale would see them ok for a back hander
Just be cautious; )

The green car has papers but like the blue one it doesn't seem to have the works style vent in the hard top...
You can buy the vent off one of the Equipe racers. £100.

The green car is shown with two hoods. The white one is repro, so make sure it has the green one too.

I would seek independent advice wherever possible and as I have no dog in the fight, both Malcolm and Ian are straight talking in my experience and therefore I wouldn't hesitate to seek their opinion.

The main problem is that lots of these cars have the classic Triggers broom provenance, especially those that were developed and developed to remain competitive in later years.

222 WAE looks a bit like it used to in period, however, it was a "modsports" racer for much of its life.
