Need an MGF body torsional stiffness kit for a customer project car, both telephone numbers given on the site seem to be dead. Can't find much if anything online except that they were still trading last year.

Anyone in the know - should I have a little more patience or is it time to draw up Plan B?

Try an mgf breakers, the kits were fitted to all mgtf's and are readily available.

You will need to make up some simple brackets for the dash brace and weld to the cross member.

This link might help too - http://mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/body/

Find a TF that's breaking - remove the brackets from said motor. That's what I did many moons ago on my MGF..

Well, I'm happy to say that in spite of one or two communication gaps of several weeks, the torsional stiffness and subframe mounting kits are both safely tucked up in our workshop! Delivery after invoicing and payment was very prompt thumbup

Looks like a fiddly job ahead (the upper dash part needs to get out, too, for starters) but hopefully well worth it, even if only for the sake of futureproofing regarding future drivetrain upgrades... smile
