Very similar to the surveyors car, though it's a V8 and very much not a project. Previous owner spent a fortune!
Promised myself one years ago - finally decided.to do it. Absolutely cracking machine!
A few tasteful tweaks so far, moto-lita wheel, locking fuel.cap & nice.wooden knob to go with the wheel..
Tempted by electronic ignition - both for.ease but also the immobiliser capability...

Here is my current stable:
1) The RHD 1965 MGB: my first car, learned to drive in it (in Belgium btw). Running a 1950cc trick engine (forged pistons, Piper 285 cam, Aldon ignition, flowed HRG Derrington crossflow head running Dell'Orto DHLA carbs, ...). Currently laid up as it requires some major body work.
2) The 1976 GT V8: factory black V8, converted to chrome bumper by a previous owner. Love it to bits.
3) The ex-Florida 1965 pull handle MGB: latest acquisition, pretty much as it left the factory apart from a colour change from old english white to tartan red a few owners ago. Makes me appreciate how good these cars are to drive if you don't mess with them.

I bought this for a charity rally and have totally fallen in love. My wife hates it and makes me park down the road. It’s staying until it blows up! If anyone knows anyone near Brighton who can do the belts for a sensible price then I’m all ears. None of the garages I’ve approached have even wanted to do them. 🤦♂️

Pm'd youHere’s mine I picked up last week, interior and engine bay needs a bit of tidying but body is just out of a restoration, Frontline suspension front and rear, 3.9 litre, LT77 box (might swap it out for a Mazda box later) I might put a new loom in it as a few things are a bit hit and miss and for peace of mind.
And with it’s stable mate......
