Guys, a relation of mine is selling her 2005 MG TF 1.8 as a result of a family bereavement. She has asked me to help her sell it as I'm quite handy with spanners and a bit of a petrolhead.

Thing is I have no idea of the market?? Or the model.

The totally amazing thing is it has a genuine 8000 miles on the clock with great bodywork and interior.

Before it's sold I will change the oil, filters and cam belt along with a bit of detailing.

Can anyone help me by suggesting what it's worth?

Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, Tf's are (in my opinion, hugely undervalued)
You might be worth having a chat with one of the specialist dealers that stock really high quality examples, they will sell it for top price, but obviously their markup will be fairly substantial.
Trophy Cars: http://www.trophycars.co.uk/ or
Church Square Auto's: http://www.churchsquareautos.com/
As for what you would get privately, it's anyone's guess, as said, they are very underrated.

The other alternative is one of the Facebook groups, for example: https://www.facebook.com/mgcarsforsale/?fref=ts
