I know this is technically in the wrong section but there isn't an Austin healey section so thought I'd post here.
I'm possibly looking to buy one of these.RHD in the UK. Just doing some research between the models. Will a 1968 car be a mark 3 or Mark 4? Also they seem to have different dashboards, does anyone have a pic of the correct dash as so many of these cars seem to have been messed about with and I'm looking for originality. /correct spec
Should anyone know of a very nice car for sale or a chrome bumper midget please let me know. Thanks

This is the Mk 3 and 4 dash layout (without the wood) Finished in crackle black paint. There are differences in the switch gear, this one being a mk4 type with rocker switches and steering lock. The Mk3 Sprite has the ignition in the dash and flick switches.
The Mk1 (frogeye) has a flat dash, peanut shaped, vinyl covered. the Mk2 has the same dash, but with a crash pad long the lower edge. Mk 3 and 4 are as pic (except switches and ign.)

Forgot to say, 1968 will probably be a Mk4, unless it was old stock, 67 was the change over year, that will be 1275cc, and have a folding hood instead of a removable one. The Mk3 was 1098cc
