Fuel for MGF

Hi all,

Hoping someone can confirm that I will not be able to use E10 (unleaded) fuel in my 1999 MGF
and will have to use E5 (super unleaded) from September.

Much as it pains me to say but.... no you won't be able to use E10
E5 Super unleaded for both of us from now on

Lotus have said not to use it in the K series Elise

check this out... we might just be okay!
Because the MGF has a plastic tank we won't see issues with tank corrosion and as long as the rubber and plastics can take it, we should be golden... I'll let you try it out first

Confirmed by MGF development engineer, can not use E10 in a MGF.

Its no big deal, I use Tesco 99 octane E5 in mne, by all acounts it has no ethanol content. Loads of Tesco petrol stations about.
