For what it is, I've allways been a big fan of the car ... not that it helped.
3000 to 4000£ sound reasonable for a '96 model.
Maybe it's not the best time to sell one right now.
Since it is an MK1, it would be interesting to know how many of the MKII updates had been done. Like inlet menifold gasket, colleant cap, ...
And, beeing an MG'F, once would allways want to know how many HGF (Head Gasket Failures) it had so far.
I truly belive that the price for MG'F models in good condition will once balance itself to 6000 - 7000€ or 4000 - 5000£
