Does anyone own or driven a MG HS?
Ideally in exclusive trim.

Any thoughts, feedback, pros, cons, advice, recommend a good dealer for competitive pricing?

Had ours for two weeks now in Exclusive Phev, so far really happy with it.

For it is the practical car of the fleet so will be doing future family trips, tip runs etc. For the small 1.5 engine the poke is plenty coupled up with the electric motor. Furthest we have been is 200 miles in it to bring it home as we wanted one with the black interior rather than the red/black. The ride is comfortable enough and the ICE (whilst the navigation screen is very slow at reacting) is decent for what is essentially a budget family car.

Pro's so far

- Lots of driving aides (too many for my liking),
- Ambient lighting is a cool feature and customisable.
- Hybrid (if you chose) works well, yet to plug ours in yet.
- Gear changing is smooth

Con's so far

- The seats look great but I can imagine the side bolsters are likely to wear quickly as they lack the firm padding in other models.
- ICE, very slow to react

Time will tell but like I say it is good value for money,

All the best,
AWG

ICE is the petrol engine

Thanks for feedback

Prices on new 1.5 petrol Trophy versions are weakening, once they go below £20k on a 73 plate I might get one.

Didn’t consider the hybrid or electric version but maybe i should give it some thought.

Do you mind me asking how much was the hybrid and did you buy it brand new or pre reg?

The salesman told me the journey is the executive trim they just gave it a new name for the facelift.
He also said a replacement of all the current models including the HS, ZS and 3 are due next year although the HS replacement may drag into 2025.
